The Lauder Gan Menachem Kindergarten in Bratislava, Slovakia is a private, Jewish kindergarten, now in it’s 13th year of operation. It was founded by Rabbi Baruch and Chanie Myers under the auspices of Chabad of Slovakia, the Slovak branch of the worldwide Chabad movement. Chabad is an international, non-profit organization with over 3000 centers throughout the globe, dedicated to Jewish outreach and education.

In September 2006, at the parents´ request, we opened the “Školský klub Tora Or”, an after-school club meeting each afternoon from Monday – Thursday for 2 ½ hours daily. The club´s aim is to provide continuing Jewish education and social interaction with Jewish peers, for children in elementary school (and their parents!), and to fill the gap in a fun-filled, age –appropriate manner once children enter the state school system.
