Shabbos and holidays
Children become aquainted with the background, basic laws, foods, songs and customs of special days on the Jewish calendar. All holidays are celebrated in school, using all five senses to make the beauty and specialness of these days come alive. In addition our weekly Challa –baking and Shabbos parties engender anticipation of Shabbos, and are eagerly awaited as the highlight of each week!
